Where Imagination meets Reality.

About Me

Hello, stranger!
Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Amelia Fuesz and I am a senior at SIUE in their CMIS program. Ever since my father helped me code my first personal website at five years old (me, not him!), I have had a passion for web design and development. By thirteen, I had created several websites and designed many forum layouts. These websites and forums became popular within a niche community, with over two hundred members at their peak. All my life I have embraced technology, the world wide web in particular, and it should come as no surprise that I want to make a career out of my passion. Although the vast world of web programming and design continues to grow, I am doing my best to follow along and grasp new technologies and tools to further my web understanding.

Aside from web programming and application designing, I have several other passions in my life. First-and-foremost is music. I am a talented pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, and I often spend hours each week belting showtunes with my keyboard. I also enjoy writing short stories and painting, although I have a long way to go with the second one. My other hobbies include resin jewelry-making and polymer clay charm-making.

I bet you've been wondering about the rabbit at the top of the screen for a while now. That is my pet rabbit, Aidan. He's a cute, round little fluffball. I believe in rabbits having free-range of the home and plenty of room to run (even though he prefers to lounge around the same place all day). Because Aidan is allowed to run around freely, he tends to sit by my desk when I code or am working. Sometimes he will even nudge at my feet for attention and head-pets. Because of this behavior, I thought it may be funny to consider him my mascot/cheerleader as I worked. While working on this website's layout, I jokingly traced a picture of him and set it at the top. It actually seemed to fit in just right. So I kept him there! Aidan is the perfect mascot for my website as far as I am concerned. :)

Well, thank you for making it this far! I hope you learned a bit about me, and I hope that you can also enjoy the rest of the website. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me using the contact form.

Thanks,
~ Amelia (& Aidan)
